LED Headlights for Freightliner Cascadia Legacy vehicles

APPLICABILITY:
This solution applies to all Freightliner  Legacy Cascadia vehicles.

ISSUE:
This solution is being written to reduce the number of requests related to LED headlamp.  This solution will address part numbers as well as compatibility.

SOLUTION:
The part numbers for the LED headlight assemblies are as follows:  Left Headlight = TL  27601C and  Right Headlight = TL 27600C.  Both of these headlights are NOT compatible with "Headlight DRL (Daytime Running Lights)".  For example, the SAM Cab programming 004 447 74 58 would NOT be compatible with these headlights. If DRL are present, DRL must be on the turn signals when using these headlight assemblies. Also when adding DRL fault detection for OL(Open Load) for the headlamps must be turned off (Example: if parameter 003 447 95 58 -PARM-CAB,HL,S2G/OL "Open Load/Short to GND reporting" is programmed for the SAM Cab, then it would need to be changed to 003 447 94 58 -PARM-CAB,HL,S2G "Short to GND reporting" or 003 447 93 58 -PARM-CAB,HL,NFR "no fault reporting").
